Dr.
Brown graduated from Macalester College in St. Paul,
Minnesota in
1982 where he received his Bachelor of Arts degree
in Biology. He
then attended Northwestern College of Chiropractic,
graduating in
1988. In 1989, he founded Bennett Valley
Chiropractic. He then formed
Synergy Medical Group in 2000.
Dr. Brown is a state appointed Qualified
Medical Evaluator and
has completed post graduate work in rehabilitation.
Dr.
Brown lives in Sonoma County with his wife
Julie and three children.
Dr.
Gary Nichols, M.D.
Medical Director
Dr.
Nichols is Synergy's Medical Director.
He is Board Certified in
Internal Medicine, Hematology and Oncology. Dr. Nichols
has
practiced medicine for over 20 years and was previously on the
medical staff of
Harvard Medical School and Cornell.
Dr. Nichols is an avid motorcycle enthusiast.
Dr.
Joseph T. Liu, D.C., Q.M.E.
Chiropractic Director
Dr.
Liu graduated from University of California, San Diego in 1991
with
a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. He then attended
Los Angeles
College of Chiropractic, graduating in 1997. Dr. Liu first
practiced
in Pasedena, California then relocated to Northern California
in
2000 and has since been allied with Synergy Medical Group.
Dr. Liu also, is
a state appointed Qualified Medical Evaluator.
Cheryl Hayes-Bartlett, FNP-C
Mrs Hayes-Bartlett received her BSN from Ohio State and completed her
Masters at UCLA. For the last 11 years, Cheryl has been a practicing
Family Nurse Practitioner focusing on pain management, medication
management
& lifestyle changes, acute & chronic pain treatment, & trigger
point injections.
Richard Comb, R.P.T.
Richard A. Comb
is a Registered Physical Therapist with a Bachelor of Science
degree in Physical Therapy.
He attended Loma Linda University's School of
Physical Therapy before continuing his
education at the American College
of Sports Medicine. Mr. Comb has been a state certified
physical therapists
for more than 30 years working as an owner of Las Palmas Physical Therapy
Center.
As physical therapist & trainer of a past U.S. Olympic Wrestling Team,
Mr. Comb has worked with
patients & atheletes at every level, from evaluation
to treatment planning to the execution of
physical therapies & discharge planning.

Dr.
Lai is Board Certified in Physical Medicine, Rehabilitation and Electrodiagnostic
Medicine. Prior to joining Synergy Medical Group, Dr. Lai was Chief of Physical Medicine and
Rehabilitation at the Contra Costa Regional Medical Center.
